Obituary of Jean Gartner

Jean Gartner was born to Andrew and Josephine Turta at Laniwci, Saskatchewan on January 6, 1926, and passed away at Daysland, Alberta on July 20, 2019, at the age of 93 years.

She is survived by her two sons, David (Shianne) and Michael (Janet); seven daughters, Maryanne (Calvin) Wolbeck, Connie (Gary) Neve, Grace (Dave) Yachyshen, Louise (Daryl) Reilly, Lenora (Dwayne) Seiferman, Yvonne (Darren) Dietrich, Yvette (Duane) Gremm; eighteen grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; her sister, Theresa Turta and numerous other relatives.

Jean was predeceased by her husband Peter in February 1995, her parents Andrew and Josephine, five brothers and four sisters.

Prayer Service will be held at Our Lady of the Prairies Catholic Church, Daysland on Sunday, July 28, 2019, at 7:00 p.m.  A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Prairies Church on Monday, July 29, 2019, at 11:00 a.m.   Memorial donations in memory of Jean may be made to Providence Place or a charity of the donor's choice.
