Obituary of Ole Swanson

Gilbert Ole Swanson was born to Clarence and Shirley Swanson at Killam, Alberta on February 29, 1960 and passed away in the Killam Health Care Centre on June 22, 2011 at the age of 51 years. He is survived by his loving parents Clarence and Shirley; his brother Stanley; his sister Christine; one niece Jennifer and numerous other relatives. Ole was predeceased by his paternal grandparents Gilbert and Clara Swanson, and his maternal grandparents Ole and Alma Enger. Ole lived his life as it came. He wasn't one to make waves, rather went with the flow. He set his hand to many different jobs - both indoor and outdoor and was always a willing helper for his friends. He accepted the final diagnosis with the same "so be it" attitude and never complained. We will miss him. A memorial service was held at Fee & Sons Funeral Home on Saturday, June 25, 2013. Interment took place in the Sedgewick Cemetery at a later date.
