Obituary of Eric Christenson

Arthur Eric Christenson was born to Jens and Gladys at Hardisty, Alberta on August 30, 1935 and passed away at Killam, Alberta on November 5, 2013 at the age of 78 years. Eric was predeceased by his father in 1968; his mother in 1974; and his brother Lyle in 1998. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife Eileen Christenson; daughter Jane (Ken) Gamroth; daughter Anna ( Mike) Wylie; and son Andy (Shelly) Christenson; grandchildren Cody, Kayla and Brady Gamroth, Nick and Hannah Wylie, and Ava and Myla Christenson; his brother Alan Christenson. Eric will also be fondly remembered by extended family and friends for his kind and faithful character. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 9, 2013 at Knox United Church - Killam. Donations in memory of Eric may be made to the Knox United Church, the Killam Hospital Foundation "Portable Ultrasound Unit" Fund, the Killam Auxiliary Recreation Department or a charity of the donor's choice.
