Obituary of Paul Dion

Paul Maurice Dion was born to Walter and Cecile Dion at Vawn, SK, on September 3rd, 1935 and passed away peacefully at the Hardisty Long Term Care Facility surrounded by family on December 2nd, 2013 at the age of 78 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 56 years Marlene; his children: Duane Dion (Elaine), Brent Dion (Maria), Shelly (Gary) Bromby; his grandchildren: Graham Bromby, Trevor Bromby, Cameron Dion, Melanie Bromby, Tanner Dion, Jenalle Dion, Celena Dion; his siblings: Leah (George) Boser, Louise (Walter) Chilibeck, Jeanne Gagnon, Lionel (Liz) Dion, Germaine (Bill) Semeniuk, Bertha (John) Couture, Marie (Murray) Geenen; his sister-in-laws: Marion (Harry) Surcon and Terry Dion; numerous nieces and nephews. Paul was predeceased by his parents Walter and Cecile Dion; his siblings Yvonne St. Amant, Raymond Dion, Robert Dion; his brother-in-law Alban St. Amant; nephews Michael Chilibeck, Dennis St.Amant, Gerald Couture. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 6, 2013 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church - Killam. Interment will take place in the Hardisty Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Hardisty Hospital Auxiliary, Stars Air Ambulance or a charity of the donor's choice. Please join the family for lunch and remembrance from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. at the Hardisty Community Hall.
