Obituary of Frieda Meckler

Frieda Meckler was born at Beresina, Bessarabia, Romania on December 23, 1928 and passed away peacefully at St. Mary's Hospital, Camrose on March 9, 2014 at the age of 85 years. Left to carry on her memory: brother Jack (Vi) Grams, sister Clara (Reg) Morlang, daughters Carol (Peter) Ebert, Donna (Hal) Sparrow, Debra Cameron, Glenda (Todd) Armitage, and son Robert (Kim) Meckler. Grandchildren: David (Leann) and Sarah (Jason) Ebert, Trever (Cindy) Sparrow, Carla (Vince) Wallwork, Kelly (Jonathon) Waehrer, and Bryce (Denell) Sparrow, Carl (Jessica) and Angie (Vianney) Cameron, James, John (Patricia), Tyson and Cody Armitage, and Shelby (Jordon) Boyd, Kyle, Treena (Denver), and Lyndsay Meckler, and Madison Lewis. Great-Grandchildren: Zachary Ebert, Caitlin Sparrow, Aiden and Eric Wallwork, Kennedy, Lexi and Jackson Waehrer, Easton Mann and Emersyn and Hudson Sparrow, Eli Cameron, and Brooklyn, Dayton and Brady Meckler, and numerous other extended family and loyal friends. Joined with in heaven: husband Emmanual Robert Meckler, twin sister Johana Gram, sisters Elsie Pipke, Margareta Speidel, and brothers Arthur and Alfred Grams. Parents: Gottlib and Fredricka Grams. Memorial donations in memory of Frieda may be made to the Gideon's Bible Society.
