Obituary of Lyman Block

Lyman Leonard Block was born to August and Clara Block at Daysland, Alberta on July 5, 1922 and passed away suddenly at Daysland, Alberta on September 24, 2014 at the age of 92 years. Lyman spent his whole life in the Rosalind area until he moved to Strome following his retirement to be closer to his children. He was an avid Flames and Blue Jay fan, but beyond that he was a Heisler Cardinal fan!! His children and grandchildren meant the world to him and he rarely missed one of their events. He is survived by his children Garth (Debbie) Block, Kim (Don) Miller and Darren (Terilynne) Block; grandchildren Garrett Block, Dustin Miller, Nolan Miller, Lauren Miller, Caitlin Block, Maegan Block and Travis Block; one brother Milton Block. Lyman was predeceased by his wife Erma in 1989 after a short battle with cancer as well as his brothers Albert, Wayne, Roger and Fred.
