Obituary of Norma Murray
Norma Ethel (Carlson) Murray of Edmonton passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 15, 2015 at the age of 71 years after a courageous battle with cancer. Norma was born on October 22, 1943 to Chris and Agnes Carlson of Sedgewick, Alberta.
She is survived by her partner of 34 years, Norval Smith; her loving daughters Christine Palmerchuk of Camrose and Susan Murray of Edmonton; grandson Dustin Palmerchuk, granddaughter Shelby Palmerchuk, brother Melford Johnson of Tofield, two sisters Corrine Hogg of Sedgewick and Irene (Duane) Freeman of Langley, B.C. as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her father Chris in 1970, her husband John in 1975, her son Dean and mother Agnes in 1987 and her son-in-law Jesse Palmerchuk in 2013.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 21, 2015 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Lougheed. Memorial donations in memory of Norma may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Trinity Lutheran Church Cemetery Fund.
