Obituary of Jean Price

Mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, Jean (Reynolds) Price of Sedgewick, Alberta was born on April 20, 1923. Jean passed away peacefully at the age of 92 years at Daysland Hospital with family by her side. Jean was born in England to Joe and Susan Reynolds, who then brought her to Canada to their homestead south of Sedgewick, Alberta in 1925. On November 15, 1945 she married Walter Price and moved to the Price family farm, also south of Sedgewick. Jean and Walter lived on the family farm until 1976 then resided in Lacombe, Alberta until Walter's passing. She then moved back to Sedgewick in 2005. Jean loved the farm life and spending time with family. She was an avid gardener, taking care of the garden and her roses. Jean will be greatly missed but always remembered by her children: Faye (Alex) and Allen (Wanda). Her grandchildren: Shane (Rhonda), Kelly (Lana), Derek (Jill), Angela (Craig); great-grandchildren: Cheyenne, Wyatt, McKenna, Braelyn, Kelsey, Taylor, Emersyn, Dayton, Beau, and Graysen and numerous relatives and friends. Jean was predeceased by her husband, Walter in October 2003, and her parents Joe and Susan Reynolds. At Jean's request, no funeral service will be held. There will be a private family graveside memorial at a later date. Memorial donations are gratefully accepted to STARS Air Ambulance, Sedgewick Cemetery Fund, or a charity of the donor's choice.
