Obituary of Jane Marie Birkjar
On behalf of husband Jay, and his children Kaj, Lane and Taylor, we are saddened to announce the passing of his beloved wife and their mother, Jane Marie Birkjar.
Jane Marie Birkjar was born to Sharon and Ron Clennin at Camrose, Alberta on November 1, 1975. Jane tragically passed away while on a family get-a-way on August 11, 2016 at the age of 40 years.
Jane was a vibrant and energetic individual who loved life and and thrived on a hard days work. Her husband and her 3 children; Kaj, Lane. Taylor, were her first love, her greenhouse and flowers her second love, her pond her third, and her horses and numerous other animals she collected over the years rounded out the list. Jane was a proud mother who posted endless pictures of Kaj, Lane and Taylor on Facebook, and spent countless hours in the car driving them to 4-H activities, afternoons on the ski hill, Taylor to horse riding lessons, all 3 children to a multitude of school sporting events, and taking them on family camping trips. A true farm girl, Jane worked non-stop from the time she woke to well into the evening. Jane never sat still, she never not had a project on the go. She was the first person to offer help to anyone who needed it; be it her family, her community, the kid’s school, or the 4-H community the children are so involved in. To put it simply – Jane never stopped.
Jane is survived by her loving husband of 16 years, Jay; two sons, Kaj and Lane; one daughter, Taylor; her mother, Sharon Biollo; one sister, Trudy (Garth) Wolbeck; two brothers, Brent and Darren Clennin; her in-laws, Eileen and Aksel Birkjar; two brother-in-laws, Grant and Brent Niehaus; one sister-in-law, Joanne (Kevin) Kuefler; Sauna Clennin and numerous nieces and nephews.
Jane was predeceased by her father, Ron Clennin and her step father, John Biollo.
