Obituary of Edna Valerie Zak

ZAK, Edna (nee Mills) passed away peacefully in Killam with family by her side on October 20, 2016 at the age of 68 years. She is predeceased by her parents and will be lovingly remembered by her husband Alben, her four daughters Brenda (Zane), Barbara, Connie (Bernie), Lorraine (Trent); 15 grandchildren Krystal, Melyssa, Brendan, Benjamen, Kathryn, Evan, Kelly, Jasper, Vincent, Makayla, Riley, Maranda, Cameron, Evelynn, Joshua; 7 great-grandchildren Brooklyn, Parker, Tyler, Katie-Ann, Aveya, Jordan, Jacob; her three sisters Shirley, Sheila, Jody and four brothers John, Robert, James, Marvin; as well as many other relatives and friends. The family feels comfort in knowing Edna (wife, mom, sister, aunt, and friend) is now watching over us with family that passed before us. The family wishes to express a sincere thank you towards the staff at Flagstaff Palliative Homecare Services for the compassionate care and kindness provided to our loved one with a special thank you to Lorraine and Ashley for their heartfelt support and guidance. A service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, October 29, 2016 at the Knox United Church of Canada, 4930 49 Avenue, Killam with Reverend Deanna Cox officiating.
