Obituary of Mary Denesik

Mary (Shwaga) (Reber) Denesik was born to William and Irene (Anaka) Shwaga at Insinger, Saskatchewan on January 18, 1922 and passed away at the Hardisty Health Centre on December 7, 2012 at the age of 90 years. She is survived by her children Albert (Dianne) Reber, Doris Reber (Ken Davis), Shirley (Tim) Prost, Willy (Maybell) Reber, Wayne Reber, Norman (Leslie-Ann) Reber; fourteen grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; one sister Ann Youchezin of Chilliwack, B.C; two sisters-in-law Marjorie Shwaga of St. Albert and Sophie Sydia of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan; one brother-in-law Matt Denesik of California; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of very special friends. Mary was predeceased by her parents William and Irene Shwaga; 1st husband Clarence Reber; 2nd husband Mike Denesik; twin daughters Mary and Amelia; brothers Fred and Morris; sister Olga; sister-in-law Pearl and brother-in-law Steve. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 13, 2012 at the St. Paul's United Church, Hardisty. Memorial donations in memory of Mary may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or a charity of the donor's choice.
