Sherrie was a beautiful person, and Bonnie and I always looked foreward to tne times we could be with her and Denny. When we first met many years ago on a trip, we soon realized here was a beautiful couple who had the same family values, love for each other, and love for the mountains the we did.
Thus there began a beautiful friendship lasting forever. We visited each other several times, and always had lots of enjoyable moments together. The only problem was the many miles separating us. That didnt always stop Denny from getting to see us. One time he and Sherrie drove all the wasy to Waterton Lakes where we had our motorhome, just to spend one night with us.
And, Sherrie and Denny knew we loved Saskatoon berry pie. So at one of our visits to Killam they managed to arrange for three freshly baked and frozen pies to find their way into the freezer of our motorhome for the trip bsck to Iowa. Later, six saskatoon plantings arrived from a nursery nearby.
There are SO MANY more stories of this beautiful friendship, and all of them showcase what incredible people Sherrie and Denny were.
But, now as the time approaches for Sherrie's memorial service, we are at a loss for words to adequately state how we wish the many miles and other time constraints didnt prevent us from being there with this beautiful family.
Our heartfelt sympathy, and prayers to help sustain all of you, are sent to you via this message.
Love to everyone of you,
Elwin and Bonnie Kendell, Burlington, Iowa

Our heartfelt condolences to the family on the passing of Sherrie. We loved her quiet, strong spirit. She never spoke of herself - only of her family and friends. But, Dennis always spoke of Sherrie. He spoke of her with great love, pride, and respect. He spoke of her nursing skill which kept her in demand with doctors. He spoke of raising sons with her, and the enjoyment of spending time with such a remarkable woman. In her quiet life, she gave strength to others. We miss her presence in this world, but are comforted knowing that Sherrie is once again, embraced in the arms of Dennis and Godʻs great and everlasting love.
Aloha,
Jeff and Karen Loo

I am so sorry to learn about the loss of your parents. I distinctly remember them & they were great people. You may not remember me but I remember them and your family from the Quinton Reunion they graciously held at your farm. A great time was had by all. My greatest memory was the water fight. Treasure the memories.
