Richard and his beloved Stormy were regulars in my grooming shop over the years I grew to call them my trusted and beloved friends. The relationship they shared was one of deepest regard the two inseparable
Richard would often wait for his boy and visit with me while I worked I learnt about his life his family and about his deep respect for the Lord. I admire him a great deal he was the kindest of men with a huge heart for animals and was always willing to help those in need of a kind word or support during a troubled time.
I will miss his trademark sense of humour and quick wit. I shall cherish my time spent with this incredible man. I’m grateful to know he is safe in the arms of our Lord and reunited with the love of his life he spoke of her often and fondly.
My deepest condolences to his amazing family many of which I feel I know from his marvellous stories.
May God grant you peace and love as you grieve the loss of Richard.
I shall remember him often and fondly. ❤️

Father Richard will always hold a very special place in the hearts of our family. He was such a huge part of us learning to trust in Jesus. He will always be remembered for his commitment to those he served through God. He was so very missed when he left Edson but he left a huge piece of himself here that will always remain. Rest well Father Richard. Your work on earth is done. The Legge Family

Fr. Richard was my mentor when he was in Edson, and I will always be grateful for his trust in me. He was a great friend to Bob and myself, and we missed him when he returned to Sedgewick. His sense of humour was well known and his commitment to the church and the local community was legendary. He will be remembered here for his compassion and love of his congregation. He is now at peace with his Saviour. Rest in peace Richard. Bob & Joan Carter - Edson

The light of this world has dimmed and heaven shines all the brighter as our Brother in Christ Jesus has now faithfully returned to our God that has created him. I have such fond memories of Rev. Conrad while I did my internship with the wonderful people of Sedgewick and Lougheed, Alberta. I am truly thankful for the valuable the lessons he taught me as a vicar. Special prayers for The Rev. Richard Conrad on Sunday at First Lutheran Church in Washington PA and Richard will be added to the All Saints Day prayer list this year. St. Matthew 25:21 " His Master replied, Well done good and faithful servant".

Our deepest condolences to Richards family. Richard was one of the nicest person I have ever known. He loved his legion, and was very active in it and truly remarkable man. My uncle and Richard served in the Air Force together, you will be amongst your comrades and friends now. Richard was very kind and thoughtful to my mom and took her to legion meetings and made sure she was okay. My mom said she had just got a lovely thinking of you card from Richard. He will be greatly missed by all. R.I.P our dear friend.

“Into your hands, I commit my Spirit. In the name of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost. He gave himself the sign the cross, took a breath and he was gone. I was so amazed and so proud of my Dad.
He spoke of my Mom, my siblings, of course Stormy and Kitty and his beloved Nova Scotia He spoke of his military time and his ministry. He had so memories, thousands of them. I have thousands of them. My brothers and sister have thousands I’m sure.
The last memory I will have of my Dad is the amazing strength and grace he showed when he uttered those words.
