Obituary of Gordon Stromquist

Gordon Walter Stromquist was born to George and Lillian Stromquist at Hardisty, AB on August 11, 1939 and passed away on February 25, 2022 at the age of 82 years old. He is survived by his wife, Mary Stromquist of Amisk, son Jeff Stromquist and daughters Laurie Stromquist and Doretta (Rob) Richardson of Calgary; brother Raymond Stromquist of Calgary and sister Sonia Myhr (Brad) of Lougheed; four grandchildren Nathan Stromquist, Christopher Richardson, Matthew Richardson and Jonathan Richardson and numerous nieces and nephews. Gordon was predeceased by his parents George and Lillian Stromquist and sister Arlene Harding. An informal memorial service will be held at the Amisk Hall on Saturday, March 5 at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Stars Air Ambulance or a charity of the donor’s choice.
