Obituary of Donavin Parsons

Donavin Larry Parsons was born to George Bertram and Alvina Rody Parsons in Hardisty, Alberta on December 08, 1946 and passed away at Wainwright Health Centre on February 28, 2022 at the age of 75 years. He is survived by his son Leroy Parsons and two daughters, Julie Bailey (Mark Carter) and Coreen (Ian) Farrell; four grandchildren Matthew, Allee, Scarlet, Ryatt; his brother Zane (Marjorie) Parsons and sister Zona Wharington, along with numerous nieces and nephews. Donavin was predeceased by his wife Goldene and parents Bertram and Alvina Parsons. He was also predeceased by his siblings Kay Dodsworth, Kathleen Fagin Dodsworth, Richard Fagin, Sadie Fagin McClements, Clarence Fagin and Robert Parsons. Donavin and Goldene married on February 24, 1968. They shared many years together before expanding their family. They enjoyed many adventures and shared a passion for Halloween and dancing til midnights end. Donavin also enjoyed fishing, hunting and camping. He enjoyed adventures on the farm with his wife Goldene and son Leroy. He enjoyed playing with his grandkids and loved to laugh and play cards. He always enjoyed a good competition and a good joke. Memorial donations in memory of Donavin may be made to charities of the donors choice. Please join the family for a time of celebration of life to honor both Donavin and Goldene to be announced in the spring of 2022. We miss you mom and dad. You are together again.
