My sincere condolences at this time , Ted was always there in many activities as I grew up sledding, hunting , project, our hunting stories go on for days , the Jimmy that went through anything and everywhere
I remember riding with him in the hills hunting in 2 feet of snow and we started to slip and we were up a creek with out a paddle! He just looked at me with straight face guess I’ll put it in 4x4 …. Oofda he just laughed , I’m sure he loved the look on your face the most
We hunted together one time and took one of his best bucks ever
The look on his face that day was priceless a great day with an old friend
I will never forget all those times or your infectious smile
Thank you Ted

I always enjoyed being around Uncle Ted. He was almost always smiling when I was around him. Uncle Ted had a great sense of humor. My brother Allen and I had our picture taken with Ted at my mother and father's home. He wrapped his arms around our shoulders I was nearly 6'2" at that time, but in the picture Ted appeared to make both me and my brother look like dwarfs. The next time I saw Uncle Ted he asked if I remembered that picture. With a big grin on his face he said, "just before the picture was taken I stood up on my toes."
During the first Dammann family reunion held in Camrose in 1982 (thank you Lana) we had some pretty fun times together. One incident which I vividly recall was when we wandered over to Uncle George and Aunt Mary's motor home. While we were visiting with them Ted spotted a camera on a shelf. After he examined the camera he told George and Mary he wanted to take a photo of them together. Uncle Ted told Uncle George to cuddle next to his bride Mary. They did not hesitate to do this. It's hard to say no to someone who seems to find joy in the simpler pleasures in life. As Uncle George and Aunt Mary posed for the picture they were all smiles. I was smiling pretty big myself.
Ted Kleinmeyer was highly thought of in the Dammann family - and deservedly so. I'll miss you Uncle Ted

Thinking of you all as you navigate the days ahead. We loved Uncle Ted and will forever cherish the times we spent with him. He never let any of our visits pass without taking us out to eat or showing us the sights. His sense of humor brought forth many smiles and chuckles from us. We loved him dearly, but are thankful he is at peace. Sending hugs and prayers. Max and Marie Hughes ❤️

Our thoughts and condolences are with you, Kelly, Shannon and your family members. I have such wonderful memories of Ted. He always infused humour in his interactions with others. I especially remember when Ted would arrive on the farm, always wanting to help and add levity to harvest and other farm, and family gatherings. Ted will be fondly remembered.

Sending condolences to Kelly, Shannon and families. We have been neighbours with Ted for many years. When my girls were growing up he was know as “Ted the teaser.” He was always joking with them. We do not know what Ted went through with his illness but now he isn’t suffering. Rest in peace Ted. Hugs to all his family.
