Shirley May McKenzie

May 1, 1937 – November 11, 2023

With great sadness we announce the passing of our mom, Shirley May McKenzie, beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother on Saturday, November 11, 2023 at the age of 86 years.

Shirley is survived by her children, Karen (Lorne) Klassen, Loreen (Gary) Larson and Brad (Pam) McKenzie; grandchildren, Lana (Tyler), Scott, Tyler (Ruby), Melinda, Kyla (Anthony) and Carson (Jenna); great-grandchildren, Kayla, Mason, Hayden, Vaughn, Hazel, Archer and Aaliyah; sisters, Peggy, Bev, Mary and brothers, Vern and Donnie.

Mom was predeceased by her loving husband, Mack; her parents, Charles and Helen; sister, Jean and brothers, Robert, Jack and Jimmy.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, November 18, 2023, at the Hardisty Community Hall.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Stars or the Cross Cancer Institute.
