Obituary of Nelson Sever Bergum

Nelson Sever Bergum was born in Sedgewick, Alberta on May 8, 1922. He was the 9th child of 13 born to Rasmus and Marie Bergum. He is survived by his loving wife Lois, 4 children Carol Ann (Neal) Bergum-McHardy, Sandra (Larry) Robinson, Vernon (Denny) Bergum, Brenda (Tom) Watkins, daughter-in-law Carole Bergum, 9 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Nelson was predeceased by his eldest son Delmore in 2013. A service will be held at the Sedgewick Nazarene Church on Tuesday, November 8th at 2:00 p.m. If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made directly to the Sedgewick Legion or the Sedgewick Cemetery Fund. Nelson passed away peacefully in his sleep on November 3, 2016 at the age of 94. Rest in Peace “Prairie Dog”
