Obituary of Paul Henry Froehler

On Wednesday, April 12, 2017, Paul Henry Froehler passed away suddenly at the age of 69 near Strome, Alberta. Paul is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Colleen; children, Dawnelle (Joe) and her son Jude of Brisbane, Australia, Amanda (Mic) of Calgary, Patrick of Strome, James (Ryan) of Calgary, his mother, Genevieve of Daysland; four sisters, Anne (Terry) Manning, Virginia Ritson-Bennett, Susan (Gene) Chromik, Audrey (Jim) Johnson, and numerous nieces and nephews. Paul was predeceased by his father Melvin, and his brother-in-law Greg Ritson-Bennett. Paul lived and farmed all his life around Strome, Alberta. He loved being outdoors and enjoying what nature could offer. He raised a variety of livestock, loved working with his bees, perfecting his gardening skills and puttering around his fruit trees. He always enjoyed good banter and could strike up a conversation with anyone. He will be missed dearly. A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 20, 2017, at Our Lady of the Prairies Catholic Church, Daysland. Donations in memorial of Paul can be made to a charity of your choice. A private inurnment will be held at a later date.
