I was so very sorry to hear of Sandra's passing. I have wonderful memories of her from our days at Galahad Consolidated School and while we did not see each other in the last few years, do remember our time at Galahad Homecoming where she organized the uniforms for our old basketball team!! Auntie Sandra will be remembered for her warmth and care for everyone she encountered. I have wonderful memories of summer visits at the cabin at Lake Isle, the slip and slide, campfire treats, family dinners and, of course, her design and sewing abilities. She always had time to take my hand and ask me how I was doing with her genuine care and affection. People like her are rare and I'm so thankful to have had her influence in my life. May she rest peacefully.

Sandra was a lovely person. I got to know her through floor curling and knew her for her beautiful smile and lovely personality. Enjoyed seeing her beautiful quilting projects on Facebook and cherish the special purse she made for me. She had great strength and fought her illness graciously. Sandra's warmth and kind-hearted goodness was a blessing to our family gatherings. She had so much in common with our family and was the best daughter-in-law my parents could've wished for. I will miss everyday that Sandra is not with us. I am so thankful for the bright memories we created together and for all the positive influences she inspired in my life.
My heart is full and heavy. I hope that our family can come together to get us through the hardest parts of losing somebody who is our mother, sister, grandmother and friend; that is saying good-bye and keeping her memory alive.
