Obituary of Joyce Bethge

Joyce Lorraine Bethge was born to Lee Wilkinson (Bill) and Violet Iola Whitcomb on October 5, 1932, at Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan.  She passed away in the Hardisty Hospital on November 1, 2018, at the age of 86 years with her son and daughter at her side.

She is survived by her son Irvin Jr. (Donna) and their children Steve, Shane (Jennifer) and Sheldon; daughter Kathy (Loren) and their children Malcolm (Tracy) and Blair (Jenna). She is also survived by her great-grandchildren Faith, Dominic, Evan, Dawson, Owen, Nate, Hayden and Quinn, two sisters June, Evelynn and one brother Garry. “Born not by my flesh but born in my heart” son and daughter, Mike and Colleen Skyrpan and family.

Joyce was predeceased by her parents Bill and Violet Whitcomb, stepfather Wilfred Newth, father and mother-in-law Otto and Katherene Bethge and her brother Jack.

A Celebration of Life will be held on at 2:00 pm on Monday, November 12, 2018, at the Amisk Senior Centre. Memorial donations in memory of Joyce may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
